Trailer safety tip of the day

Do a simple walk around before starting out. Make sure your safety chains from trailer to tow vehicle are attached properly (never let them drag the ground). Check your tires for proper inflation and wear. Have someone step on the brakes and check your brake lights and all other lights on both your tow vehicle and your trailer. Check to be sure a trailer spare is onboard. Do you have the proper tools to change not only your vehicle tires but also your trailer tires?
